On January 17, the Singaporean esports organization Paper Rex announced that CigaretteS had joined their team as a content creator. The former professional player is returning to streaming after a break of one year and four months.
The 28-year-old CigaretteS began his esports career in 2015 in CS:GO, representing top Thai teams such as Signature, MiTH, and ZIGMA. Additionally, CGRS has experience in games like PUBG, Apex Legends, and Overwatch. His popularity as a streamer is evident from his impressive follower counts: 704,000 on YouTube and 331,000 on Twitch.
CigaretteS transitioned to VALORANT esports in 2021 and joined Paper Rex as their sixth player the following year. At the VCT 2023 Masters Tokyo tournament, he stood in for something, who couldn’t attend due to visa issues. Despite a limited 10-day preparation period, the team secured third place. After his contract with Paper Rex ended in September 2023, CGRS rejoined MiTH, where his team placed second in the VCL 2024 Thai Split 1 and won Split 2.
Patiphan “CGRS” Posri has returned to Paper Rex, this time as the team's Content Creator.

“It's always a joy to work with Kla (CGRS). He has such a positive spirit and good nature. We're happy and excited to have Kla co-stream and cheer on the team. We will work hard to meet him… pic.twitter.com/gRCeBbP40e
Recently, MiTH announced the disbandment of their VALORANT roster. CGRS commented on this decision during a stream:
Achieving success at the Tier 2 level is unrealistic. As much as I’d love to continue, we need to be realistic.
Following this, CigaretteS decided to dedicate his skills and efforts to creating content for Paper Rex. Paper Rex COO dsn shared warm remarks about their new content creator:
Working with CGRS is always a pleasure. He’s an incredibly positive and kind person. We’re excited and eagerly waiting for him to support the team through watch parties. We’ll do our best to meet him in Bangkok.
