Case Esports secured a sensational victory over KOI in the LVP - Crossfire Cup 2023

Another match has concluded at the LVP - Crossfire Cup 2023 tournament, where Case Esports achieved a sensational victory over the favorites KOI in a best-of-three format and knocked them out of the event.

In this confrontation, two teams of different calibers competed: one, KOI, participates in the highest European league - the VCT EMEA League, and the other, Case Esports, plays in the Spanish Challengers League. Even though KOI had announced several roster changes before the match, they were still considered the favorites for this meeting. Former professional player Óscar "mixwell" Cañellas, now a content creator with Team Heretics, predicted a confident 3:0 victory for KOI.

The match turned out to be extremely tense for both teams, and the winner was only determined on the last fifth map. Case Esports won with a score of 3:2 (Ascent 10:13, Lotus 13:9, Haven 13:11, Split 9:13, Breeze 13:11). Following the defeat, KOI was eliminated from the tournament. The organization announced that this match was their last for the year and it ended in failure.

Content creator Álvaro "Lembo" Rodríguez Távora from the Giants organization also expressed his opinion on KOI's performance, noting the incredible individual play of Kamil "kamo" Frąckowiak.

The positive note was the individual play of Kamo, but the team still has a lot to work on.
