Boostio from 100 Thieves: "We need a lot more trash talk in the league"

On June 24th at the VCT 2024 Americas Stage 2, a match highly anticipated by Valorant fans took place. The team 100 Thieves, champions of the first stage, couldn't stand against FURIA and suffered a 0-2 defeat.

After the match, Boostio, a player from 100 Thieves, gave an interview with RavishingRavish to discuss the reasons for the loss and plans for the future. He admitted that the team has been struggling with effective play since the conclusion of Masters Shanghai but expressed confidence in their ability to bounce back to victories.

Boostio also advocated for more trash talk in competitions:

We need a lot more trash talk in the league. I don't regret my posts from Brazil. It brings attention to the game.

When asked about his decision to retire in case of defeat, Boostio replied:

I think it's about how my mom raised me. She taught me not to care about what others think and to do what makes me happy.

The next match for 100 Thieves against MIBR is scheduled for July 3rd. The team aims to regain their positions and continue their fight for the title of Americas champions in the second stage of VCT 2024.
