Last week, the champion of Valorant Champions 2023 from Evil Geniuses, Kelden "Boostio" Pupello, expressed his opinion about his team and FNATIC during a Twitch broadcast.

Interestingly, during the discussion, Boostio compared the two clubs, stating that FNATIC surpasses Evil Geniuses. According to him, FNATIC is currently the best team in the world, surpassing even EG, whose performances earned them the title of world champions.

FNATIC is the best team in the world, better than us, but at the world championship, they played like crap.

 

The player also shared his opinion about Leo "Leo" Jannesson from FNATIC. Boostio emphasized that he does not consider him the best in the world. In addition, the champion expressed the view that other players, such as Alfajer, aspas, and Less, have a more significant impact on their teams.

Leo has the best stats, right? But I think it's his team that allows him to do that, I think his playstyle allows him to have those stats. If I had to assemble a team, I would prefer to include these three I mentioned.

Despite acknowledging FNATIC as the best team, it is worth noting that they took 4th place in the Champions tournament after losing to LOUD 2-1 in the lower bracket semifinals. However, the FNATIC team became the champion of VCT LOCK//IN 2023 and VCT Masters Tokyo 2023. Meanwhile, Evil Geniuses became world champions, took 2nd place at Masters Tokyo, and 3rd place at VCT Americas.
