The first semifinal match was between favorites BiliBili Gaming and TYLOO. Although the match ended in victory for BiliBili, it dragged on for 3 maps. On the first map, Bind, the favorites defeated their opponents with a score of 13:7. However, on their choice of map, Icebox, TYLOO redeemed themselves and became the winners with a score of 13:9. The outcome of the match was decided on Lotus, where BiliBili won 13:5 without any problems, earning a slot in the upper bracket final.

XLG Esports vs Dragon Rangers Gaming

The second match saw a similar clash between the favorites of their group, XLG Esports, and the weaker team, Dragon Rangers Gaming, but the result surprised all spectators. On the first map, Lotus, DRG won 14:12 in extra rounds. On the next map, Bind, XLG defeated their opponents 13:5 without a chance. The outcome of the match was decided on Sunset, where the underdogs Dragon Rangers Gaming unexpectedly defeated their opponents 13:5 and advanced to the final.

As a result of the matches, Dragon Rangers Gaming and BiliBili earned victories and advanced to the upper bracket finals, where they will face each other on August 22 for a slot in the grand final and a ticket to Champions 2025. It should be noted that regardless of the outcome of the tournament, BiliBili has already secured a slot in the championship thanks to the 16 China Points the club earned during the season. XLG Esports and TYLOO, in turn, suffer defeat and fall to the lower bracket, where they will face their opponents on August 21 for the right to continue their journey in the tournament.

VCT 2025: China Stage 2 runs from July 3 to August 31. Twelve partner teams from the Chinese region are competing for two direct slots in Champions 2025 and valuable CN points, which will determine two more teams that will qualify for the world championship.
