Riot Games often sends various awards to famous streamers and content creators, related to holidays or other significant events. However, gifts to professional players are a rarity, and today it was revealed that tier-2 player Benjy "benjyfishy" Fish received one of them.
In his official Twitter account, Benjy shared an interesting award with his fans. He announced that he received his first award as the rising star of Challengers, from the official representatives of the Valorant Champions Tour. The pedestal features the player's nickname, and the award itself is a Kunai, a Japanese weapon present in Valorant as knife skins and also used by the agent Jett during her ultimate, Blade Storm. It can be assumed that the award highlights benjyfishy's professionalism especially with Jett, as this is one of the favorite agents for a professional.
Benjy "benjyfishy" Fish received the award for achievements earned at his former club, Enterprise Esports. As a member of the Czech team, Benjy twice finished second at both stages of the VALORANT Challengers 2023 East, Split 1 and Split 2, and was a step away from qualifying for the Challengers Ascension 2023 contenders tournament. It's no surprise that Riot Games awarded him the title of rising star for such results.
