2Game Esports has officially promoted Estevao "Askia" Ferreira from the academy roster to the main team. He will replace Luis-Henrique “pryze” Viveiros, who recently joined FURIA. The organization shared this update on their social media.
Askia previously played for The Union and Hero Base. With The Union, he secured first place at VCL 2023 Brazil: Split 2 and third place at VCL Ascension 2023: Americas. At the beginning of 2024, he transferred to Hero Base, where he became the champion of VCL 2024 Brazil: Split 1. However, the team later struggled at VCL 2024 Brazil: Split 2, finishing in 8th place. Five months after leaving the team, in February of this year, Askia joined 2Game Academy.
The next match for 2Game Esports is scheduled for March 23 at 10:00 PM CET. The team will face Evil Geniuses as part of the VCT 2025: Americas Stage 1, running from March 21 to May 4. During the tournament, 12 teams will compete for three slots at VCT 2025: Masters Toronto and ranking points for the Americas, essential for qualification to VALORANT Champions 2025.
