Apeks hints at signing a player from VCT Americas for its Valorant roster

The organization Apeks, recently recognized as the first to sign a player from Game Changers, is now hinting at bringing a player from VCT Americas to complete their Valorant roster.

Apeks posted a cryptic tweet on their official X page, mentioning that many talents from VCT Americas have transitioned to the EMEA region this season. They posed a question to their audience: should they make another similar transfer? Currently, their Valorant roster consists of only four players, and the signing of a fifth is likely to be the final European transfer before the start of VCT 2025.

Rossy to Apeks?

The most likely candidate hinted at by Apeks is Daniel "Rossy" Abedrabbo, who recently left Cloud9 and finds himself in a challenging situation. With most teams having finalized their rosters, Rossy risks missing the 2025 season. Apeks could provide a lifeline for Rossy, just as he could be a valuable asset for the team, given his extensive experience playing in two regions—Americas and Pacific—which are currently more competitive than EMEA.

Only one month remains until Apeks’ first tournament in VCT EMEA. The VCT 2025: EMEA Kickoff begins on January 15, where the team will compete against 11 other squads for two slots at Masters Bangkok.
