Another shift on the Chinese Valorant scene - Bilibili Gaming signs a new captain

Such rare changes on the professional scene in the Chinese region started today, and the trend suggests they will continue. It has just been announced that the roster of the top team Bilibili Gaming in Valorant has been joined by a new captain, who was bought out from a tier-2 team.

In their official account on the social network Weibo, representatives of Bilibili Gaming announced that after the conclusion of tripartite negotiations with the organization NTER and their inactive player Yang "B3Ar" Zhanxiong, the latter is now officially joining the tops of the Chinese scene as captain and in-game leader.

After friendly negotiations between the three parties, we are pleased to announce that former Shenzhen NTER Electronics Club player Yang "B3Ar" Zhanxiong has officially joined the BLG Fearless contract division. The young man should have high ambitions and compete for glory in thousands of miles of sky. In the new year, we welcome B3Ar to join Wabi, let's move forward together, rise high and look far, and all our wishes will come true!

Yang "B3Ar" Zhanxiong has been playing for NTER for the last three years, where he showcased his skills exclusively on the Chinese tier-2 scene. During his time under the banner, Yang won three stages of the Xyper Arena Weekly Showdown from 2 to 4. However, his performance in the current season ended in failure, his club was eliminated from all three qualifiers for all stages of the Valorant China Evolution Series, and lost the chance to get a partnership.

It is still unknown what prompted such a replacement. The strong team invites a tier-2 player, who has never played in international tournaments, to the position of captain. We will follow the official sources to learn all the new information about the Chinese tops.
