The latest match of the LVP - Crossfire Cup 2023 has concluded, where UCAM Esports Club claimed a hard-fought victory over the highest league contender, Team Heretics.
Following the end of the regular season, Team Heretics radically reviewed its Valorant lineup, retaining only two players from its previous roster and signing three young and promising talents. However, this has not yet translated into success, as the team has failed for the second consecutive tournament, this time falling to a club from the Spanish Challengers League.
The match between Team Heretics and UCAM Esports Club was a best-of-five series that proved challenging for both teams. Each side consistently won their map picks until the decisive map, which was clinched by UCAM Esports Club. The match concluded in their favor with a score of 3:2 (Sunset 6:13, Bind 13:9, Breeze 8:13, Ascent 13:8, Split 13:8).
With the defeat, Team Heretics finished in the 5th-8th position. Meanwhile, UCAM Esports Club advances to the semifinals and will face Case Esports for a chance to compete in the final of the LVP - Crossfire Cup 2023.
