Analysis of the "Surrender" button usage statistics in ranked matches at various ranks

During the analysis of over 500,000 ranked matches, a graph was compiled reflecting statistics on the frequency of the "Surrender" button usage at different gaming ranks. An interesting observation stands out when examining the "Bronze" rank, where players show a greater tendency to surrender compared to other ranks.

One possible explanation for this phenomenon is that players in the "Bronze" rank may approach the game more for enjoyment rather than a strong desire to win. This could mean that, for this group of Valorant players, the game is primarily seen as entertainment, and they are more inclined to easily give up a match rather than persistently fight for victory.

For a more precise analysis, data from the "Iron" and "Radiant" ranks were excluded. This decision was made due to the uneven distribution of available data for these ranks, which could have distorted the overall picture. Additionally, a 95% confidence interval was added, ensuring more reliable results and accounting for possible variations in the data.

Thus, the obtained results provide valuable information about the psychology of players at different ranks and allow for a better understanding of the factors that may influence the decision to surrender in ranked matches.
