Akame Announces Departure from REJECT Valorant Team

On July 10, REJECT team member Akame announced on her X page her intention to change teams. She will be considering offers as a free agent with a buyout and indicated that she can play all roles: Duelist, Controller, Initiator, and Sentinel.

The 20-year-old Akame began her career in the competitive Valorant scene in 2021 with the Korean team Alpha Six Gaming, and in 2022 transitioned to the Japanese competitive scene. In April of that year, she joined the Jadeite team, where she played various roles from Duelist to Sentinel, and in the following year secured second place in VCJ 2023 Split 2.

In September 2023, Akame joined the REJECT team. Despite challenges such as roster changes before the start of VCJ 2024, the team successfully passed the qualifiers and made it to the main stage of VCJ 2024 Split 1, where they finished in second place, losing to FENNEL in the final with a score of 2-3. This marked Akame's second final in her career in Japanese competitions.

Akame, known for her wide agent pool and having served as the IGL (in-game leader) for REJECT, is actively seeking a new team, so stay tuned for her future endeavors with us on bo3.
