After failing in the Chinese league of contenders, Secret leaves Regans Gaming

Chinese teams that lost the opportunity to enter into a partnership with Riot Games continue to part ways with players, and Regans Gaming is no exception. Yesterday, one of the club's members, Kim "Secret" Ha-jin, announced his status as a free agent, confirming rumors about changes in the team.

In his official Twitter account, Secret made a brief announcement stating that as of today he is looking for a new team. Interestingly, the player himself, as well as representatives of his former team, did not bid each other farewell in any way. This suggests that the parties ended their collaboration on not the best terms, and therefore there was no official farewell.

From today, I begin to look for a new team. I can communicate in basic English.

Kim "Secret" Ha-jin joined Regans Gaming in October 2023, before the start of the Chinese stage of Valorant China Evolution. Despite expectations, the team completely failed all three stages of the competition, with the last and most important China Evolution Series Act 3: Heritability, ending for the team in 9-12th place. As a result, the club lost the opportunity to participate in the main event and compete for a partnership with Riot Games.

It is still unknown whether Kim has received offers from other teams, but it can be assumed that finding a new club will not be easy for him. The competitive season in 2024 has already started, so most teams already have a fully formed roster. We will follow official sources for more information.
