The last day of the first phase of the playoffs for VALORANT Challengers 2024 East: Surge Split 1 has concluded, in which the Acend team lost two matches where they were the main favorite. This led to an unexpected lineup of finalists for everyone.

Acend lost both of their matches for advancing to the second stage of VALORANT Challengers 2024 East: Surge Split 1. The first match was against GoNext Esports, and the second was against Chipi Chapa's. Both matches were tense, but success did not favor Acend.
