Acend brings back XanderKast as assistant coach to their updated Valorant roster

The European team Acend, ahead of the new competitive season, made significant changes to their Valorant roster, but they didn't stop there. After parting ways with several players, the organization announced yesterday that they are inviting Xander "XanderKast" Martens to join their team as an assistant coach.

The official announcement was published on their official Twitter account. In it, the team welcomes the Belgian XanderKast and expresses joy about him returning to the team, and will be assisting the players in 2024. Xander himself is excited about the opportunity and mentions that he could never have imagined being part of such a large organization.

A year ago, I could never have imagined that I would be part of such a wonderful organization with such players, a coach, and management. I am looking forward to proving myself in this new role and having a great year!

Xander "XanderKast" Martens is a young 19-year-old Belgian coach who began his journey only in 2022. During this time, he managed to coach the team Sissi State Punks, and from May to August 2023, was an analyst at Acend. Xander performed excellently in his previous role, which is why the organization invited him to work directly with the players as an assistant coach.

Remember, in a week, Acend will start their performance at the VALORANT Challengers 2024 East: Surge Split 1, where they will fight for the opportunity to return to the tier-1 league. We will follow the team's success to find out if the new assistant coach will help them reach the top.
