Community meetings with game developers in real life are quite rare, but recently such an event happened with a Valorant player. He met Riot Games employees in a British pub and even received a reward for it.
The story was shared by a user with the nickname Overall-Business5398, in the largest information community dedicated to Valorant on the Reddit portal. He said that while working in one of the British pubs, he served a table where Riot Games employees were sitting. After a short conversation, the player eventually received the coveted Riot Fist Bump charm in an unusual way.
I got it while serving Riot employees in the beer pub where I work. Pretty cool story, but they offered me this charm, and I agreed. One of the visitors had a jacket with a fist similar to the Riot logo, and the girl in a hoodie next to me had Riot games written on her sleeves. I asked if they worked on Riot games. We talked about what game I play. I said 'Valorant', and we chatted a bit more about the game and ranked matches. About 30-60 minutes later, the woman I was serving came up to me and asked if I wanted the Riot charm.
Remember, the Riot Fist Bump is a unique charm in Valorant. It's quite difficult to get; you need to meet Riot Games employees during Valorant matches. During the match, you need to show sportsmanship and encourage the team. Interestingly, user Overall-Business5398 is likely the only player who received it during an offline meeting.
Readers of the portal were happy for the player and asked for the address of the pub where the author works. They also want to try their luck and try to find the developers to also receive a gift.
