A player from the Skulls Esports team accuses teammates of match-fixing

R4VE, a member of the Skulls Esports team from Algeria, reported that his teammates proposed to him to participate in match-fixing. R4VE allegations were published on February 21 on Twitter. According to him, he was benched due to "issues with gameplay style and behavior", but he claims he was specifically asked to lose the match.

I was asked to intentionally lose the match. This is my official statement.

He also claims that one of the team players, known as HEMMORJAY, suggested to him to fix the match through Telegram, promising to earn $2,000 if they lose the first match. However, R4VE declined the offer and reported it to the team manager.

The Skulls Esports team released a statement on their Twitter page, stating that they will not take action against HEMMORJAY until sufficient evidence of his involvement in match-fixing is provided. They also mentioned that they discussed the situation with the VCL management and agreed to abide by their decision.

Furthermore, the team stated that HEMMORJAY denies all allegations of match-fixing, and since there is no concrete evidence of his involvement, they cannot take any measures.

If the allegations of match-fixing are confirmed, players who participated in it may face punishment from Riot Games. However, it should be noted that R4VE did not provide specific evidence, and no definite conclusions can be drawn about HEMMORJAY involvement in match-fixing.
