A Chinese player accidentally purchased a professional esports player's account for 100 yuan in Valorant

Today, an unusual case involving a player from China who intended to buy an account for the game Valorant on a specialized website became known. After paying only 100 yuan (about 13 dollars), he expected to receive a simple account, but instead found that he had acquired a real account of the esports player and streamer FNS.

Deciding that such a purchase was unfair and the account should be returned to its rightful owner, the Chinese buyer attempted to contact FNS friends to convey information about the hacking and illegal sale of the account.

However, at first, his messages were ignored. Canadian streamer Shanks, who responded to the player's messages, mistakenly took them as a joke, assuming that another well-known player, s0m, had accessed the account and decided to joke around. Despite the Chinese player's efforts to explain the situation in several languages, including Chinese and English, his words remained misunderstood.

Eventually, Shanks contacted FNS himself, leading to the resolution of the mysterious situation. The esports player learned about the hack when he logged into his friend's stream and found messages in Chinese sent from his account. Thanks to prompt action and player cooperation, the account was successfully returned to its owner.

It is believed that the account password was stolen using a fraudulent website. Although this story has not been confirmed by FNS himself, screenshots and recordings from Shanks stream, where everything took place, are attached to the original post.
