A bug with aim assist discovered in Valorant Mobile

The mobile version of Valorant is still in closed beta testing, but early bugs have already surfaced. Recently, the Valorant Mobile Leaks & News portal shared an interesting issue related to aim assist, which is expected to be fixed soon.

What the Bug Is About

The Valorant Mobile Leaks & News portal posted a video yesterday showcasing the bug. It involves aim assist, a feature available in both the console and mobile versions of Valorant. Aim assist helps players aim for an opponent’s head, as this is more difficult to do with a mobile device or controller compared to a computer mouse.

As seen in the video, the bug allows aim assist to register a kill even if the crosshair isn't directly aimed at the head, but the bullet flies close to it. In the video, the author first turns off aim assist and shoots near the head of a bot, and the kill is not registered. However, when aim assist is enabled and the action is repeated, the bot immediately dies, even though it's clear that the bullet did not hit the head and passed nearby.

Community Reaction

In the comments, players eagerly awaiting the release of Valorant Mobile are hopeful that this bug will be fixed soon. They argue that the bug makes the game unfair and too easy, as you don't even need to fully aim at your opponent to secure a kill.

Although there is no official information on when the bug will be fixed, players likely have nothing to worry about. The company is expected to resolve all bugs and errors during the beta testing phase, ensuring that Valorant Mobile will be fully operational and ready by the time of its release.
