100 Thieves officially part ways with bang

American organization 100 Thieves has officially announced the departure of Sean "bang" Bezerra from their Valorant roster. While the name of his replacement is yet to be revealed, rumors regarding his future team are already circulating.

Two Years in the Rearview

Sean "bang" Bezerra joined 100 Thieves back in 2022, before the franchised league system was even in place. During his time with the team, he competed in numerous tournaments, with the most notable achievements being their qualification for VALORANT Champions 2022, where they finished 9th-12th, and their 4th-place finish at VCT 2024: Masters Shanghai. Reflecting on his departure, bang shared the following words:

The hardest decision of my career. I know this will make some people happy and others sad. I wish I helped 100T win more, but in the end, I’m proud of what we accomplished.

bang’s Potential New Team

According to rumors circulating online for several weeks, bang could be heading to Sentinels. The team recently lost two key players — TenZ and Sacy — both of whom retired from professional play, leaving Sentinels actively searching for replacements.

If the rumors are true, an official announcement could be made soon, especially since Sentinels have been invited to the UNSTOPPABLE 2024 tournament, which kicks off next month.
