Force rounds are an integral part of playing Valorant. Successful choices of weapons and equipment can significantly increase the chances of victory. In this article, we will look at what force rounds are and various strategies and combinations that can be effective in such situations. While most players would like to see more weapons in the game, in reality, there is enough variety for everyone to find something they like, and this material will help you with this.
What is a Force Round in Valorant
A force round is an unpleasant situation that often arises during a game of Valorant. Circumstances force teams to purchase weapons and equipment, but not all players always have enough funds to buy the best gear.
In most cases, choosing a force round is a risky affair. It is only advisable to do so when there is a chance to change the course of the game in your favour and gain the lead in the match, or when there are very few rounds left until the end of the match, and your team must take risks, as otherwise, you will lose. Therefore, in such cases, it is important to choose optimal purchase combinations to make the most efficient use of the limited budget, and this article will help you with this.
Cowboys

If your budget is limited due to planning significant expenses on abilities, consider this combination: Sheriff and light armour. The Sheriff is a powerful weapon that kills with one shot to the head when the opponent has no armour or only light armour. If the enemy has purchased heavy armour, this ability decreases to 30 meters. Regarding the choice of armour, if the opponents have a full buy, there is no point in buying heavy armour, as most players prefer the Vandal, which still kills with one shot to the head.

Close Range

Choosing the Judge and light armour is an option for players who prefer close combat. The shotgun has a high rate of fire, allowing you to kill two or even three opponents at once, and light armour will provide enough durability not to die from three bullets.
Close and Medium Range

For close and medium range, we prefer Spectre and light armour. However, in this case, you can also purchase heavy armour if the opponents need more credits for a full buy. They will purchase weapons of the same level as you, and the additional 25 health can be decisive in fights against them.
Why Spectre? The weapon has a high rate of fire, and at a distance of up to 15 meters, two shots to the head can be decisive for the opponent, even if they have heavy armour. In addition, high mobility with Spectre can be useful in some situations.
Stability

A stable option is to purchase Bulldog and heavy armor. Heavy armour will provide an additional 50 health points, which will be effective in combination with Bulldog, which, although not having a high rate of fire, deals significant damage. Additionally, Bulldog has a second firing mode: if you open the sight by pressing the right mouse button, the weapon will start firing three bullets, which is effective at medium and long distances.

Sharpshooter

For players with confident shooting, Guardian and light armour will be one of the best options for a force round. The weapon kills with the first shot to the head from any distance, and light armour will add 25 health points, providing protection against Phantom or Vandal, which will not be able to kill you with three shots to the body.
Who needs abilities?

A combination of players who play agents whose abilities are not as crucial as others, for example, Reyna. She receives one charge of Devour / Dismiss (E) for free. Therefore, by purchasing only a weapon, such as Vandal or Phantom, and light armour, you not only become a dangerous opponent for the enemy team but can also heal after a kill.
Mini Sniper

With the addition of the new weapon Outlaw, the arsenal of sniper rifles has expanded, and now you can choose for any budget: the cheap Marshal, the mid-priced Outlaw, and the expensive Operator. Any of these sniper rifles will be powerful in skilled hands. We recommend choosing Marshal or Outlaw according to your budget, and not buying armor, as there is a low chance that after your miss, the opponent will allow you to escape the battlefield.
Regardless of your choice, it is important to accurately assess the situation on the map, your play style, and the strategic goals for your team's round. Adapt your purchases to the specific game conditions, and don't forget that cooperation and coordination with the team are key to success in Valorant and beyond.
