Rainbow Six is changing beyond recognition. Ubisoft has unveiled the roadmap for the game's 10th year, with the main event being the global Siege X update. A new 6v6 mode, map reworks, veteran rewards, and dozens of improvements await players starting in June.
In March, an introductory update called Prep Phase was released. It introduced a new operator, Rauora, the Reaper MK2 weapon, and a battle pass. This was the start of preparations for major changes.
In June, the year's key update, Siege X, will be released. The game is entering a new era: the 6v6 Dual Front mode, the return of Unranked mode, enhanced movement, UI rework, and veteran rewards.
Full list of changes:
In the third season, players can expect a new defender and weapon, as well as expansions to the 6v6 mode. Three more maps will be revamped, and new features for matches and tournaments will be added.
Key innovations:
The final season will be celebratory as the game turns 10 years old. Ubisoft has prepared an anniversary event, a remaster of an attacking operator, and cross-operator weapons.
What to expect in the season:
Ubisoft is focusing not just on content but on a complete transformation of the gaming experience. The 10th year of Rainbow Six Siege will be a start of a new era, not a retrospective. With each season, the game will become deeper, more flexible, and modern. Players need to be ready for changes, as Siege will never be the same again.
