This usually means there's a connection issue between your client and Ubisoft servers. Restart your router, then reboot the game. If that doesn’t work, flush your DNS: open CMD and type ipconfig /flushdns. Helped me before.

Make sure your NAT type isn’t strict. If it is, open the ports for R6: TCP: 80, 443 & UDP: 3074, 6015. You can do that in your router settings. Fixed the error for me permanently.

Had this last week — it was a temporary server-side issue. Check Ubisoft server status ubisoft.com/help or their Twitter. If servers are up, relogging usually helps.

If you’re on PC, try verifying game files via Ubisoft Connect. Right-click the game in your library > “Verify files”. Sometimes it’s just a corrupted config. Also try disabling IPv6 in your network settings.

I contacted Ubisoft support about this, and they said it might be related to account linking or connection issues. What worked for me was unlinking and relinking my Ubisoft account, turning off my VPN, and switching from Wi-Fi to a wired connection. Not sure which part fixed it, but the error hasn’t come back since.

massive thanks for your comment! I had the exact same error and was honestly close to giving up. But after I followed your advice - turned off my VPN, relinked my Ubisoft account, and switched to a wired connection - the game finally launched with no issues. I would’ve never guessed the account linking or VPN could be the problem. You seriously saved me here

phahaa, classic. Ubisoft and their top servers. I was getting that error for three days straight, only thing that worked was switching to mobile hotspot) Then it just magically fixed itself a few days later. It’s Ubisoft, things get fixed when the gods feel like it
