"If there are any regulations or restrictions regarding the arrival of my teammate from Russia to the tournaments, visa, or rules from the organizers themselves, then it is very likely that there will be some changes. Well, most likely there will be. All I can do is wait and see how things unfold, the future is uncertain," said YEKINDAR. This statement was said two days before Blast announced that Russian teams wouldn’t be invited to their events.

Virtus.pro are the team based in Russia with two Russian players on the roster. It causes problems with a large number of tournament organizers. Currently, Russian citizens are not allowed to visit Europe and US.

What changes might happen to the Virtus.pro roster? The most predictable option is YEKINDAR’s leave, as he is the only non-CIS player on the lineup.
