Wildcard strengthens their CS2 roster with two European players

Wildcard have officially announced the signing of Love "phzy" Smidebrant and Tim "susp" Ångström to the main CS2 roster. Earlier there were rumors about their possible joining and here is the official announcement.

The 21 year old phzy has good experience in the past, having played in some tier 1 tournaments. He has previously played for Sangal, Rare Atom, Young Ninjas and the main roster of Ninjas in Pyjamas. Susp, also from Sweden, is a 19 year old rifler who has previously played for Metizport, 00 Nation and other teams.

The current roster includes players from different regions: two from the Americas, one from Africa and two new players from Europe. This unique combination allows us the flexibility to choose a region to play at RMR. The team will have a month to get to the best teams in the region, because on August 7 will be the list of invited teams for closed qualifications for RMR and RMR itself for Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024.

The first tournament of the lineup will be ESL Challenger League Season 48 North America, which starts tomorrow. The prize pool will be $80,000 and two coveted slots to ESL Pro League Season 21.
