What Does the CS:GO Twitter Banner Mean?

What versions did the community have?

On the night of March 17, the official CS:GO account on Twitter changed its cap once again. Now it features five Counter-Strike logos, which are associated with the new trademark registered by Valve. And, of course, this change began to be interpreted differently, like any hint from the developers.

The strongest version, which most of the community believed, was the idea of a countdown. The idea was that the number of logos would decrease daily, and when none were left, Valve would release an update. However, a day has passed, and the cap has not been updated, so now you can consider other versions.

Broky's version

After the banner was not updated for a long time, FaZe Clan's player Helviys broky Saukantz posted his version about the new CS:GO banner on Twitter. In his opinion, the five logos represent the Counter-Strike series. From left to right are Counter-Strike 1.6, Counter-Strike: Source, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and the latest, not-yet-released iteration, which broky labeled Counter-Strike 2.

At the moment, this is the most logical and probable hypothesis.

Valve reminded that CS is a game for teams of five

Some Reddit users also brought up another theory, which, although it looks implausible, is one of the few popular versions in the community. There is no unexpected subtext in this explanation. The only thing that created a reason for jokes is that Valve could, in this way, poke the coaches, whom they consider unnecessary.

The logos still indicate the number of days until the update

The latest version says that Valve did not update the Twitter profile header and still indicates the number of days until the update's release. According to this hypothesis, CS:GO will be updated on March 23.

This idea is prompted by the fact that March 23 is a very important date for Valve because Half-Life: Alyx was released on this day three years ago. So we will find out whether this version is justified in four days.

Valve creates a lot of noise in the community with any of their actions. And the developers actively use it - they rarely go to the info field and annoy the players. So what is Valve preparing?
