After convincing victories over difficult opponents (16-9 against Mouz and 16-14 against Virtus.pro), the Ukrainian club immediately became the epicenter of the audience's attention, moving from the status of group’s outsiders to "dark horses." Ukrainian fans even counted the rounds until the club from Lviv reached the Major.
At first glance, everything was fine with the team. The team did painstaking homework at the bootcamp. As B8 captain cptkurtka told us in an interview, the players felt comfortable with each other, and most importantly, they had r1nkle.
R1nkle excelled in individual play, entering the top 5 best players in RMR A, even despite the situation with the Major. More than a year ago, NaToSaPhiX drew attention to the talent of the Ukrainian, calling him one of the most promising young players. R1nkle proved that status.
At the same time, he also demonstrated an alternative career growth for Ukrainian players: you can assert yourself not only by being promoted from NAVI Junior to the main team of "Born to Win," as it was with headtr1ck, b1t, and npl.
Moreover, B8 Esports simply be on a roll for the entire tournament. Even before the start of RMR, the community agreed that group A is much easier than the second half of the qualifiers. At the same time, when it came to the final matches, the Ukrainians were regularly defeated by the worst teams. Fnatic, Into the Breach, and Apeks are far from impenetrable opponents. Close scores prove this.
But if you look at the progression of the games, it becomes obvious that every next match was more and more difficult for B8 Esports. In the author's humble opinion, the point of no return was the match with Into the Breach, in which there was no obvious favorite before the start of the game. But the emotions of the players on the stream say the opposite:

This is tilt, gentlemen.
All players of the Ukrainian club, except for OWNER, reacted emotionally to almost every lost situation where they were in similar circumstances with enemies. Bangs on the table and facepalms hardly create a healthy atmosphere in the team’s TeamSpeak.
B8 was incredible, as they pulled themself together at the most important moment and won it, even despite a series of tilt rounds. However, they all were already broken on Vertigo, especially since it is not a strong map for B8.
Let's be honest - it should not have come to the decider, and the British took the Ancient solely due to greater mental stability. Ancient is B8 Esports' signature map, and they only took five rounds in defense.
B8 should focus on mental reboot, which will be almost as crucial as the demo analysis. The negative experience of the previous RMR, excessive tension, and excess emotions can turn even one of the strongest NAVI-level teams into a "glass cannon" that will crack as soon as everything goes wrong.
S1mple also used to take failures close to heart, especially during his time in FlipSid3 Tactics, where he became the hero of the legendary recorded TeamSpeak talks. But the aggressive teenager became a calm young man who revealed his full potential.
If this were a regular CS:GO season, the reshuffle would be against the team. But since only Counter-Strike 2 is waiting for B8, the players must decide to enter a new discipline together or look for a better future with other teams. After all, this is okay. But if they stick together, they must solve the problem with team psychology.
