TSM announced joel for the RMR tournament selection - the player was previously accused of 322

Esports club TSM registered for the qualification to the RMR tournament ahead of PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 in CS2. Information about this appeared on the Challengermode portal.

Joel "joel" Holmlund will compete for TSM in the qualifying competition. In September 2023, the former member of the GODSENT team was involved in a scandal related to fixed matches: The Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) stated that Holmlund was connected with rigged matches. Experts concluded that the player from Sweden was betting on CS:GO matches in which his own team participated and which ended in the team's defeat. Later, ESIC dropped the charges against the player due to lack of convincing evidence.

In the roster, joel replaces Kai "CYPHER" Watson, who previously joined Bleed Esports. At the time of publication, TSM did not confirm the transfer of the Swedish esports player.

Open qualifications for the RMR tournaments in all regions will begin on January 8. The first major in the history of CS2 will take place from March 17 to 31, 2024, in Denmark. The prize pool of the competition will be $1.25 million.
