Transgender esports player Luna "ManeschijnX" Akkermans has decided to leave the women's roster of GamerLegion for CS:GO due to accusations of unfair play on FACEIT. She announced this on her personal Twitter page.

Regarding allegations, I want to inform everyone that I have made the decision to part ways with GamerLegion due to the recent events. I want to thank them for the opportunity they have given me and their constant support throughout this situation.I'm currently working with ESL and Faceit in their ongoing investigation, and will share more details along the way.

Streamer Esmeevee drew attention to the alleged cheating by ManeschijnX. According to her, she previously played under the nickname Bentas and used cheats on the FACEIT platform. However, after the ban, she changed her in-game nickname and, presumably, her gender to be able to continue playing professionally under a different identity. More on this can be read in the article.
