The PERA organization announced its closure in its profile on Platform X. "The end of ERA! Pera Esports is unfortunately done with. Everyone who was part of our team is now free and looking for new opportunities. We want to thank everyone who participated and fought for us," the post reads.
This development is an interesting one as PERA has managed to establish itself on the cybersports scene in its short existence, making its closure unexpected.
PERA's history and accomplishments
The PERA organization was founded in November 2023, and immediately began to actively participate in cybersport tournaments. During its existence, the team has achieved significant successes, including winning the YGames PRO Series 2024 with a prize pool of $10,800, as well as winning the 22BET Christmas Cup.
PERA's lineup was as follows:

Highlights and achievements
The team was also able to qualify for ESL Pro League Season 19 through the European Conference, but finished 21-28th in the EPL. The squad's last major achievement was a 3-4 place finish at Shuffle Masters #1, where they lost to Team Nexus and received $1,250. PERA reached 48th place in Valve's rankings, which secured them an invitation to the closed qualifiers before RMR. However, due to the dissolution of the organization, if the players don't split up, the slot will go to an ex-PERA lineup.
A glimpse into the future
The closing of PERA was an unexpected event. Players who previously represented the organization are now looking for new teams and opportunities. This transition period could be the beginning of new and exciting career paths for many of them.
Thus, PERA's closure emphasizes the dynamism and unpredictability of the cybersports industry, where even successful teams can face unexpected twists of fate.
