Counter-Strike has always been known for its dynamic and highly competitive nature. However, in 2024, the tension has reached a new level. More and more teams are fighting for titles, and every victory becomes significant. BLAST.tv reached out to HenryG to get his opinion on the current state of the top teams and find out who he thinks are the strongest at the moment.

5. Vitality
HenryG noted, "After a historic win at the last CS Major, the world was shocked when Vitality announced numerous changes in the following months, making room for young talent and losing key figures such as Magisk to Team Falcons. It was unclear whether Vitality could have the same success with players without the same experience. In recent months, Vitality have had a number of issues with players showing fantastic form but ultimately falling below the high standards they have set for their squad. CS2 has some of the biggest names in the game, including prodigy ZywOo; the pressure is on them to get back on the winning track and find their form as the major trophies of the year are just around the corner."
4. G2
"The CS2 community lost their heads when the changes to G2 were announced, with many questioning whether snax and malbsMd could make it to the highest level of world Counter-Strike. After their amazing performance at EWC and their debut games at Fall Groups 2024, I am convinced that this team is a true powerhouse. With two of the best players in the world in the form of m0NESY and NiKo currently at the peak of their form, it's just a matter of time before we see this team defeat the final boss in the grand finals," said HenryG.
3- MOUZ.
"MOUZ has amazing team chemistry and is gaining experience at every event, the deadly youth continues to improve with the addition of siuhy and has reached peak form after winning ESL Pro League Season 19. The problem with this team is that we're waiting for that success to translate into big arenas. If they can do that, they can become one of the best teams in CS2," said HenryG.
2. Spirit
"After winning the inaugural IEM Katowice Championship in CS2 and introducing the world to one of the best rifflers ever to hit the server, it's clear that Team Spirit is the number one team in the world. They seem to have slowed down a bit and are now finding their footing again in the second half of 2024, but it's not a matter of 'if' but simply 'when' this team will lift another trophy," emphasized HenryG.
1. NAVI
"The current major champions proved that they can lift big trophies again with a very convincing victory at the recent Esports World Cup. Aleksib has had time to raise the level of the team and get the most out of their stars, most notably the world class sniper, w0nderful. The Counter-Strike world is very competitive right now, but NAVI has enough trophies and current form to claim the top spot," HenryG said.
