The first four participants of the Perfect World Shanghai Major American RMR are determined by the results of qualifications, the fight for the remaining slots continues

The second day of closed qualifiers for North and South America at the Perfect World Shanghai Major Americas RMR has come to an end and the intrigue is heating up. Four teams have already secured their spots in the RMR, while the other eight teams are out of contention. However, the fight is not over yet, as the last two spots are still at stake, for which the teams will fight in the decisive matches.

Results of the second day of qualifiers

Wildcard and Nouns showed their strength on day two of the North American qualifiers, winning all of their matches in the Swiss group 3-0 and securing their trips to Shanghai. One of the most notable disappointments was the loss of Party Astronauts, who blew their chance to qualify for RMR by losing to FLUFFY AIMERS, a team recently boosted by Edgar “MarKE” Maldonado.

Among the eliminated teams from North America were Mythic, Akimbo and Take Flyte. The latter team was disqualified for a substitution violation in their match against Legacy, adding drama to the tournament.

In South America, the Case and BESTIA teams also left no chance to their opponents, taking the top two spots in RMR by a score of 3-0. However, for inSanitY, Galorys, Sharks and Solid, the tournament ended in disappointment as they withdrew from the competition.

Deciding Matches

The final matches to determine the last RMR participants are ahead. In North America there will be matches between E-Xolos LAZER and FLUFFY AIMERS, NRG and Legacy, and BOSS and Elevate. In South America we will see KRÜ vs Hype, RED Canids vs ODDIK and W7M vs Fluxo.

There are only two spots left in each qualifier for RMR. The highest placed winner will guarantee themselves a trip to RMR, while the other two lower placed winners will battle it out for the last remaining spot in the deciding match.
