ESL Pro League Season 20 will start on September 3, 2024 in Malta and will last until September 22. This is one of the most prestigious tournaments in the CS2 world, where 32 teams will compete for a prize pool of $750,000.

Ukrainian players and teams are in the spotlight:

Ukrainian teams and players will be in the spotlight this season. NAVI (Natus Vincere) will meet Lynn Vision in the first match of Group A. This will be a key match for NAVI as the team seeks to consolidate its position among the world's CS2 elite. Ukrainian player r1nkle as part of NIP (Ninjas in Pyjamas) will take on HEROIC in Group B, which promises to be a tense confrontation. Tournament format:

  • Group stage: 32 teams are divided into four groups, each with 8 teams. The teams will compete for the playoffs in the double elimination format. The group winners will go straight to the semifinals, while the rest of the teams will compete in the lower bracket for the right to continue their tournament journey.
  • Playoffs: 16 teams will compete in the single elimination stage. After each match, the losers will leave the tournament, and the winners will move on to the final, which will be played in the bo5 format.
