Ropz will not attend IEM Katowice 2022 Play-In

FaZe will have to find a stand-in.

IEM Katowice 2022 has not even started, but FaZe are already suffering from problems.

FaZe reported that Robin "ropz" Kool was tested positive for COVID-19 and would miss the first days of IEM Katowice 2022. FaZe are going to start the event from the Play-In stage, where they will face Sprout in the first round.

According to ropz’s Twitter, the team arrived at the bootcamp for IEM Katowice 2022 on Monday, and on Wednesday, he was tested positive for COVID-19, also having developed symptoms. Now the player is quarantined. His quarantine will end on February 19th, and on that day, he will be able to return to the team. It means that FaZe will have to qualify for the group stage without Estonian.

It is a terrible loss for FaZe as ropz was topping the leaderboard for the team at Blast Premier Spring Groups. There is no information about stand-in yet.
