Bugs in Valorant are not uncommon, and developers strive to fix them as quickly as possible. However, sometimes the situation becomes critical, as with a recent bug that forced Riot Games to completely disable the option to select Jett as an agent on consoles.
Reason for the Temporary Removal of the Agent
Following the release of Act 3, Episode 9, Valorant introduced a lot of new content, but new bugs emerged along with it. One of these bugs involved the agent Jett and a combination of her abilities. When using Tailwind to dash into a previously placed Cloudburst smoke, players would experience an abrupt stop and issues with their view.

Although the bug was discovered on October 24, developers began working on a fix only four days later. On the 28th, they announced that Jett would be temporarily removed from the game on consoles.
A Strange Decision by the Developers
Although the bug was fixed within a few hours, allowing Jett to return to the agent pool, this incident sparked discussions within the Valorant community. Players were surprised that developers felt the need to completely disable an agent just to fix one bug. This practice is quite rare for Riot Games, who usually release hotfixes to resolve issues. Temporarily removing an agent from the game seemed unusual. Some community members even speculated that the developers might not have known how to fix the bug, leading them to remove the agent entirely and roll back to a previous stable version.
For now, this Jett bug is one of the key issues following the release of Act 3, and no other critical errors have been reported. Keep following our portal to stay updated on Valorant issues.
