The grand finals of the 5E Arena Asia Cup Fall 2024 qualifier featured TYLOO vs. Rare Atom, with the winner earning a spot in the BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown. This tournament also featured TheMongolz, who failed to make it out of the group and finished 1-2, losing to Rare Atom and CatEvil winning Steel Helmet.
Rare Atom started Anubis with an 8-4 first half advantage, after switching sides they also took two rounds on offense, but TYLOO's defense started to work and they brought the game down to one round. In the final round, Rare Atom overcame TYLOO and took Anubis 13-11 to their piggy bank.
In Inferno, all of Rare Atom's efforts were on defense and they started the second map with nine straight rounds before Mercury and zhokiNg brought TYLOO the first round, but TYLOO also took the second round, thus making the first half 10-2 in favor of Rare Atom. Although TYLOO took the second pistol, they still lost to Rare Atom, and those finished Inferno with a score of 13-3 and advanced to the grand finals with a score of 2-0.
The MVP of this match was AhaNg of Rare Atom with a 7.4 rating and 107 ADR.
With this win, Rare Atom secured their spot in the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2024. Teams such as M80, AMKAL and Zero Tenacity have already booked their place in the event. The tournament itself will take place from August 21-25, 2024, and the top two teams at the end of the Fall Showdown will advance to the BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024.
