The Asia-Pacific RMR (Regional Major Ranking) tournament, organized by Perfect World, has begun in Shanghai. This prestigious Counter-Strike 2 event, which will take place from November 11 to 13, 2024, will determine which teams will qualify for the upcoming Perfect World Shanghai Major. Eight teams compete in an intense double-elimination bracket, where only the top four will earn a spot at the Major.

Rare Atom defeated GR on Anubis: Somebody got the MVP title

At the end of the first day of the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024: Asia-Pacific RMR, the last two matches turned out to be exciting and determined the schedule of the next games. Rare Atom showed a confident performance, defeating GR with a score of 13:4 on the Anubis map. Thanks to a solid team performance, Rare Atom quickly took control of the match, allowing GR only a few rounds to respond. The MVP of the match was Somebody with a rating of 8.1, distinguished by his high shooting efficiency and influence on key moments of the game. His stability on the map provided Rare Atom with a stable advantage throughout the match.

Among GR's players, SALO_MUX was the best, as despite his team's defeat, he was named EVP with a rating of 6.3. His ability to remain effective in such conditions deserves recognition, as he demonstrated excellent play in several important episodes. However, this did not help GR avoid defeat, and now they move to the bottom bracket, where they will face a difficult path to continue in the tournament.

The MVP of the match was nettik, who finished the game with a rating of 7.3 and impressive performance in both phases of the game, which allowed TALON to avoid unnecessary risks and take control of Inferno.

For his part, FlyQuest player Vexite was recognized as an EVP with a rating of 6.7, doing his best to keep his team in the fight. His efforts to provide the necessary support at important stages of the game had a significant impact on the final result, but unfortunately, FlyQuest was unable to take full advantage of these chances.
