A tragic piece of news shook the Valorant community yesterday. It was revealed that Bruce "sae" Nguyen, a professional Vietnamese player who had been competing on the Valorant scene for the past three years, has passed away.

The news was shared by Blinn Esports analyst Aaron “akapiko” Kapiko, for whom sae competed from January to June 2023. Akapiko expressed deep sorrow over the loss of his former teammate and friend, requesting that everyone respect the family’s privacy. However, he did not disclose the cause of death, leaving the circumstances unknown.

Sae’s Career
Bruce "sae" Nguyen began his Valorant career in late 2021 with ex-Serenity. After a month, he moved to Knights Academy, where he stayed from February to October 2022. Later, sae joined Blinn Esports, representing them from January to June 2023. Over his career, the Vietnamese player achieved several notable milestones, including first place at InfernaLAN Monthly Tournament #5, second place in the College VALORANT 2022-2023: South - Spring Tournament, and 5-6th place at the College VALORANT 2022-2023: Championship.
