Valve has released another update to Counter-Strike 2, and this time it's quite a big one. Professional players, such as Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer, have already expressed their opinions on the update and hope that this trend will continue.
First of all, the developers worked on the workshop:
- Enabled uploading CS2 maps to the workshop
- Community Servers can host workshop maps
- Various Item Editor help system updates including "mat_fullbright 10" to test PBR
- Various updates to workshop tools

In addition, many gameplay bugs have been fixed:
- Fixed a case where user commands would be ignored in poor network conditions
- Fixed a case where weapons would fire faster than intended
- Fixed a case where clients would show multiple gunshots for one actual shot
- Fixed a case where players would fail to keep their weapons between rounds of overtime
- Fixed some instances of dropped weapons falling out of the gameplay space
- In firstperson, dead players will now see their own ragdoll at the server-authoritative lag-compensated position of their demise
- Decoy grenades interact aesthetically with smoke clouds
- Knife attacks will now prioritise enemies and will only hit teammates if there are no enemies in range
The captain of ENCE Snappi commented positively on the latest CS2 update:
Great Update! Let's hope it's the first of many
Another ENCE player, Alvaro "SunPayus" Garcia, is also happy with the update:
Good news, hope for more of those also in the near future 💙
Were also fixed and changed many other bugs and made improvements to some maps. For example, birds that could be mistaken for grenades were removed from Inferno, as it happened during Yehor "markeloff" Markelov's match.
