In the lower bracket of Group A, the teams FURIA and G2 secured confident victories over Falcons and 3DMAX, respectively, and will now face each other in the decisive match for a playoff spot at IEM Cologne 2025. For Falcons and 3DMAX, the tournament is over — both teams exited the championship after defeats in the lower bracket semifinals.

Falcons vs. FURIA

It all started on the Train map, chosen by FURIA. However, their attack failed — only 3 rounds in the first half. Falcons easily secured the win — 13:7. The second map, Mirage, was more balanced: Falcons won the first half (7:5), followed by the pistol round, but then FURIA came back from a 9:5 deficit to win the map 13:11.

On Dust2, Falcons also started strong, largely thanks to kyousuke, who achieved 20 kills with 5 deaths in the first half. With such a player, losing the first half would have been difficult, resulting in a 7:5 first half. However, during the attack, the team completely failed, managing only 13 kills over 8 rounds, which was not enough for victory. They lost all 8 rounds in a row and exited the tournament.

3DMAX vs. G2

On Ancient, chosen by 3DMAX, the first half was evenly contested — 6:6. However, after switching sides, G2 quickly seized the initiative and closed the map with a score of 13:8. On Inferno, where G2 had the choice, the team acted even more confidently; after a 6:6 tie in the first half, they didn't drop a single round on defense — resulting in a 13:6 victory for G2.

FURIA and G2 now advance to the lower bracket final of Group A, where they will play each other tomorrow at 16:00 CEST for a spot in the playoffs. 3DMAX and Falcons, on the other hand, exit the tournament in 9th-12th place, earning $16,000 in prize money and $7,000 for the organization.
