Players at Skyesports Championship 2024 have issued an ultimatum to the organizers

Skyesports Championship 2024 is now underway in India, with various issues popping up by the hour. This time the teams participating in it have given the organizers an ultimatum.

The tournament started yesterday but as soon as the tournament started, the problems started. During the first match of the tournament between The MongolZ and local team True Rippers Esports, the teams lost power for 3 hours. Their BO1 match went on for about 5 hours out of the scheduled 1.

As BLEED coach, kassad wrote on his Twitter account:

Teams have decided to stay and run the event but with an ultimatum. In the event of further delays, everyone is out and going home

After the first match it appeared that the players had their computers taken from their practice room and the managers were gathered together. Where as it became known they were informed that the tournament would be rescheduled for the next day at a different location, because the hotel where it all started did not have enough power.

At the end of the day it became known that BetBoom decided to withdraw from the tournament and focus on the upcoming IEM Cologne 2024. The organizers found no one to take their place and their matches were put through with a score of 13-0.

It has also become known that there are no tactical breaks in the tournament, this was said by the Aurora coach, brain:

The second game day has now started, where Aurora defeated PARIVISION and Eternal Fire defeated Revenant. Due to the cancelation of the first game day, the tournament will not be extended, they will just cancel one media day, so the tournament will end on time.
