Spinx became the best player of the match, scoring 39 frags with a rating of 7.1.

FaZe 2-0 SAW

• MVP: frozen (30-18, ADR 87) 
• EVP: Shr (5.5 rating)

FaZe left SAW no chance on the first map, defeating their opponent on Ancient with a score of 13-2. However, on Nuke, the Portuguese tried to impose a fight and even had a chance for a comeback, but FaZe managed to keep the advantage and close the game 13-11. frozen became the key player of the series, notching 30 frags and a rating of 7.2.

Falcons 2-0 FlyQuest

Falcons started the tournament with a confident victory over FlyQuest. The first map, Inferno, was fairly even, but Falcons were able to implement their tactics and won 13-9. Dust II was even easier for the Europeans, who closed the game 13-7. NiKo had a fantastic match with 41 frags and was the best player of the match.

The MongolZ 2-0 Complexity

• Maps: Dust II (13-7), Ancient (13-7)
• MVP: senzu (40-23, ADR 89) 
• EVP: JT (6.7 rating)

The MongolZ started the group stage with a confident victory over Complexity. Both maps ended with the same score - 13-7. The Mongolian team controlled the game and did not allow their opponents to create serious problems. senzu made 40 frags and became the MVP of the match.

3DMAX 2-1 Virtus.pro

• Maps: Ancient (11-13), Inferno (13-6), Dust II (13-11) 
• MVP: Ex3rcice (7.4) 
• EVP: Flit (6.2)

3DMAX made an good comeback in the match against Virtus.pro. After losing Ancient in a tie, they completely dominated Inferno and then pushed Virtus.pro to the limit on Dust II in a tense ending. Ex3rcice showed a fantastic game, scoring 63 frags and bringing his team an important victory.
