Valve continues to please fans with its new projects. This time the attention was attracted by a new game called Deadlock, which is currently in the alpha testing stage. The game has the main mechanics of the two most popular games from Valve: Dota 2 and Counter-Strike 2.
But what was particularly eye-catching was the fact that one of the testers under the nickname “dogma1997” was able to recreate the legendary Dust II map from Counter-Strike. Although the recreated version of the map still lacks textures and looks somewhat simplified, all the elements and layout of Dust II have been recreated with accuracy.

As one of the most iconic and popular maps in history, Dust II has proven its appeal and playability time and time again over the years. The fact that the map was able to be reproduced in the new game shows that they will be able to port other Counter-Strike maps as well.
Most likely, in the future we may see a full version of this map with textures, but it will not be among the other maps for this game, as it does not fit the mechanics of the game, but as an option to play in a custom game with friends.
