OG sensationally defeat Heroic and advance to the semifinals of BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2024

In the quarterfinal match of BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2024, OG surprised everyone by defeating one of the tournament favorites, Heroic, with a score of 2:0. The match, held in the online format, ended with OG's victory on the Anubis (13-10) and Nuke (13-11) maps.

OG took the upper hand on both maps

On the first map, Anubis, OG took the initiative from the very beginning, demonstrating a confident defense. Heroic tried to get back into the game, but OG maintained their advantage, ending the map with a score of 13-10. The MVP of the first map was MoDo, who showed a great game with a 7.2 coefficient.

The second map, Nuke, did not bring any relief to Heroic fans either. Despite the fact that Heroic had a good start, OG managed to turn the tide and bring the game to a 13-11 victory. MoDo once again proved to be one of the strongest players, finishing the match with an overall rating of 7.2.

The semifinals are ahead

With this victory, OG are now in the semifinals, where they will face either NiP or Amkal. This match is expected to be another interesting challenge for the team that has already demonstrated its capabilities against Heroic.

Prize pool and tournament format

BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2024 is held online and has a prize pool of $135,000 USD. 16 teams take part in the tournament, and the winner will receive a ticket to BLAST Premier Fall Final.

Such teams as FaZe Clan, Cloud9, OG, and others take part in the tournament. The prize pool is distributed among the participants as follows: the winner receives $20,000 and 900 BLAST Premier points, the second place - $20,000 and 900 points, the third and fourth places - $12,500 and 600 points.
