NRG has announced the signing of Nick "nitr0" Cannella, who returns to CS after six months of playing in VALORANT for Team M80. nitr0 will replace Colby "Walco" Walsh, who has left the team. Confirmation of the deal follows reports that NRG were interested in the 28-year-old after talks of his move to the CS division of M80 failed.

As part of NRG, nitr0 will reunite with former teammates Damian "daps" Steele and Josh "oSee" Ohm, with whom he played with at Liquid. "Every team needs a Captain America," NRG stated in their announcement.

NRG's current roster is as follows:

Since returning to CS NRG has had its struggles, including poor performances in qualifying. The team rebuilt the roster, moving daps into the role of coach and bringing in Walco and autimatic. The latter improvements led to a win over M80 and qualification for BLAST Fall Showdown 2024.

NRG has shown determination to strengthen its roster and return to the top of the competitive scene. Under the guidance of the experienced nitr0, the team can look forward to more consistent performances and meaningful results in the upcoming matches. The upcoming matches will be the team's participation in ESL Challenger League Season 48: North America.
