No more "collaterals" - in CS2 you won't be able to kill multiple enemies with a single bullet

Valve has removed the ability to penetrate shots through multiple opponents. Such a change was introduced in the latest update for Counter-Strike 2.

In the video presented by dataminer Thour, it is evident that bullets do not pass through the model of the first enemy, leaving the second one unharmed. A similar situation is observed when shooting with the AWP.

The community has speculated that this might be a bug, which will be fixed soon. Otherwise, there will be slightly fewer sniper highlights on the pro scene, and double-peeks against the AWP will become less risky.

Perhaps, in this way, the developers want to slightly buff the T-side, allowing the offense to pass through narrow positions (e.g., apartments on Mirage) with less pain.
