Complexity announced the departure of head coach Tiaan "T.c" Coertzen after more than three years of collaboration. The decision was made following an unsuccessful start to the season, where the team won only one out of six matches at LAN tournaments.
T.c joined Complexity in January 2022, when the organization was building a roster around the core players from Extra Salt. Under his leadership, the team won the ESL Challenger Jönköping 2024 and reached the finals of IEM Sydney 2023. However, in 2025, Complexity saw the departure of Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski and Ricky "floppy" Kemery, with EliGE moving to FaZe and floppy being benched. They signed two young players in their place: Danny "Cxzi" Strzelczyk and Nick "nicx" Lee.
The results in 2025 immediately worsened. The team won only one out of six matches at LAN tournaments. They finished last at IEM Katowice 2025 Play-In, and at PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025, they were only able to defeat Imperial Fe and exited the tournament in 12th-14th place.
T.c's departure also marked the end of an eight-year journey with Johnny "JT" Theodosiou, who have been playing together since 2017. They have come a long way, starting their careers in South Africa and moving together to the USA. Over the years, they have been part of six organizations: Bravado Gaming, Denial eSports, ATK, Cloud9, Extra Salt, and Complexity. In 2017, they were 24 and 17 years old respectively, and now they are 32 and 25. In a farewell post on social media, T.c thanked JT and wished success to his former teammates.
For now, I will spend time in South Africa with family to recharge before the next challenge. I am a free agent and open to offers in any regionshared T.c
