Still, the moment that will be most remembered occurred on round 16, when NiKo nearly executed a 1v5 clutch, but the last bullet missed its target. In a burst of emotion, NiKo hit the table, punching it and his hand began to bleed. The match was briefly suspended due to this incident. Despite the injury, NiKo pulled himself together and helped G2 finish the map with a score of 16:14, which put them into the finals.

The crowd at the Forum supported NiKo throughout the game. When the technical timeout caused by his injury began, the audience chanted his name. Also during the game, the team's teammate's teamtalk was turned on, where NiKo said: “I bleed and kill!”, reaffirming his determination to fight to the end.
