Aurora and PARIVISION received an invitation to RES Regional Champions

Aurora and PARIVISION have received an invitation to the LAN tournament in Belgrade. These teams will join the top six RES ranked teams with four from Europe and two from Latin America to compete for the $250,000 prize pool.

Qualifying Details

Teams could gain points by playing in 6 tournaments for Europe and 4 for Latin America. Nemiga Gaming were the most frequent qualifiers, winning 3 times, winning RES European Series #2,3,5.

Tournament details and teams

The tournament will take place October 16-19 in Belgrade. RES Regional Champions will be held in two stages. Group stage, where the teams will be divided into two groups and will play in GSL format and playoffs, which will be held in the usual Single-Elimination format.

First LAN tournament

RES Regional Champions will be the first LAN event for nawwk with fnatic after his temporary move from BLEED. Team kassad will also be making an appearance at the tournament, although it is not yet known who will take two spots on their roster.

In addition to them, this tournament will be the first for Ivan “zweih” Gogin, who joined Nemiga before the start of RES European Series #5, which the team managed to win. For Nicollas “nicks” Polonio of Fluxo, this tournament will also be the first LAN in his 19 years.

Conclusion

The tournament promises to be intense, as not only $250,000 is at stake, but also a prestigious title. It will be interesting to watch Andrei “arT” Piovezan, who will be playing his first LAN for Fluxo, as he has only played online tournaments before.
