Riot Games conducted the draw for VCT 2025: EMEA Kickoff, the first tournament of 2025 for the EMEA region, starting on January 15. The tournament will determine the two teams that will represent the region at Masters Bangkok 2025. From the very first round, unforgettable matches await us.
Format of VCT 2025: EMEA Kickoff
All matches, except for the lower bracket final and the grand final, will be played in a best-of-three (Bo3) format. The lower bracket final and grand final will be held in a best-of-five (Bo5) format.
The top two teams out of twelve will qualify for Masters Bangkok. Every match victory not only brings a team closer to Bangkok but also earns EMEA points. At the end of the season, based on these points, two teams will be selected to attend Champions 2025.
Twelve teams will participate in VCT 2025: EMEA Kickoff. Four of them have earned an advantage and will start their journey from the second round in the double-elimination bracket due to their achievements in 2024, specifically reaching Champions 2024. These teams are:

VCT 2025: EMEA Kickoff starts on January 15 and will run approximately until mid-February. Twelve of the best teams from the EMEA region will compete for two spots at VCT 2025: Masters Bangkok and EMEA points.
